ABOUT THE ROLE

We are aggressively Cloudflare-native: Workers, R2, D1, KV, Workers AI, Queues, and Durable Objects. Plus a small Hetzner GPU pool for our vision pipeline. The platform you build is what lets a 14-person team ship every week without falling over.

This is not a babysit-the-cluster role. We expect deep platform engineering — internal CLIs, CI/CD that other engineers love, observability that surfaces problems before customers do, and a security posture we can defend in front of a SOC 2 auditor.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

→Own CI/CD, deploy pipelines, and preview environments across the org.
→Run observability: logs, metrics, traces, and the dashboards engineers actually use.
→Drive SOC 2 controls and platform-level security work alongside the security architect.
→Maintain and evolve the GPU pool that powers the vision stack.
→Be on-call rotation lead. Fewer than 2 paging incidents a month is the bar.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

→6+ years in platform, SRE, or DevOps roles.
→Deep Cloudflare experience — or willingness to learn it fast and prove it in the take-home.
→Strong scripting in TypeScript or Go. You can write the internal tools, not just configure the YAML.
→Postgres comfort: you can read EXPLAIN ANALYZE and recover a stuck migration without panicking.
→Past on-call experience and an opinion on how to do it humanely.

NICE TO HAVE

+Hands-on Workers AI, Durable Objects, or Queues at meaningful scale.
+SOC 2 or ISO 27001 lead experience.
+Built a developer platform that other engineers actively praised.
